Rough Cut 1
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhXDxII30O4
Looking at our first rough cut, we have come to the conclusion that we do still have a lot to improve on. We are still in the process of editing and after producing our rough cut, we have been a able to identify what improvements we need to ensure our opening sequence is of a high quality. This include creating an appropriate soundscape to set a pace for the visuals. Additionally during editing we will experiment with filters and alterations of what we have already filmed. Alongside this adding credits is vital considering it is an opening title sequence.

Filming day 1 (production) Task 46
We decided as a team that to make sure that our film had a variety of shots and different angles, we practised with the camera before we took them out.
This was our first day of actual filming. Here we were filming the hostage scene. Where our main character is held hostage in a desolate, dark, dingy room. We used a top light and made sure the room was pitch black so that it was only the character's body you cans see.
Here you can see that we to ensure that our audience know that this is a horror movie, a typical convention is that there must be blood. So with red food colouring we poured it over the bandana to make it seem as if she was hurt and beaten.
Editing day1 (production) Task 48
In Today's lesson Tuesday the 8th December 2015. We as a group are editing our clips and putting our shots together in order. So far we haven't put in any special effects as we are trying to make the shots we have more clear and more short and look like a horror movie.
In this picture we were re-arranging were each shot goes, and cutting out scenes that don't conform to the horror genre. For example we had a shot which was showing the setting but because it was too long it gave the impression it wasn't a horror movie.
