There are many different types of film openings such as:
The classic opening. This includes a black screen with white titles. This gives the audience very little knowledge about the film.

Then you have the Establishing shot openings. This would just show the location of where the film is going to be or just some of where it is going to filmed. Its the very beginning of the story, so no actual acting.
You could also have the voice over film openings which are quite common. It would be like a
narrator is speaking in the background. It sometimes includes short conclusions about the plot.
Lastly you could have the non-linear narrative opening. This is where the audience is thrown into the scene either at middle or end and the movie would be about trying to find out what happened in the beginning.
