Evaluation
.
In conclusion to our Se7en remake title sequence, we believe that we could have improved in such features such as
-Props-Variety of camera shots
-Editing (pace)
-Text
-Organisation
We believe this because we found that the shots were too long which made the title sequence less interesting and upbeat like the opening of Se7en. Adding a variety of shots with different lengths would have made the title sequence seem more upbeat and fact paced going along with what was presented in the `Se7en' title sequence.
The editing was quite difficult due the fact that we were very knew to the software needed to edit our visuals; this was expected because of the time frame and lack of experience. In order to improve we identified that we would have to put in more time and do research on the computer software provided in order to know the features useful to us related to our title sequence.
For organisation skills, it would be useful if we had more of a set plan in order to create a smooth process of filming editing and most of all editing to create the final product. Initially we designed a useful storyboard which allowed us to know what we would move onto step by step however, we didn't use that many descriptions making it difficult to know exactly what we had to move on in terms of filming.
From making our remake we have learnt that there are a lot of very vital elements to film making and it is imperative that we become accustomed to the different software and resources available for creating our title sequence. In terms of planning, we have recognised that we would need more extensive planning so we know the sequence of filming, editing etc.
